Fixtures released tomorrow
Bored shitless watching England so thought I'd start a thread...
Fixtures come out in the morning. Some great games to look forward too.
I'd be happy with Stockport away first game and an away trip on Boxing day to Birmingham.
Will we sell out any away games this season? What will be the biggest away following we take?

Very excited about tomorrow. I'm over for three weekends in September - hoping for an AP home and an away at The Valley, Brisbane Road or the Abbey Stadium.
I really hope we get Charlton away early in the season while the weather is better
Hope we get Wrexham at home first. At least it will create a bit of media interest.
But would be a TV fixture surely. And therefore not a 3pm Saturday.
Can anyone remind me how quickly they'll confirm the first set of TV moves, with each team getting 20 sky games each a season now?
Think it was going to be fairly soon but can't remember the details.
I think it’s supposed to be on release day or soon after.
“All televised fixtures until January 2025 will be announced before the start of the season to give fans greater clarity, while a further announcement in November 2024 will confirm TV games until March 2025.
Sky will then revert to a more traditional process of selecting games based on the situation in each league.”
Actually, it’s within 7 days. This link explains it better https://www.efl.com/news/2024/june/19/when-is-efl-fixture-release-day-/
All of the first round of games are televised this year
Everton next season
Anyone know if Wanderers TV will be cheaper as a results of losing so many games?
I sincerely hope we don't lose any games to international fixtures. Hate to see you having to endure watch England play rather than Wycombe
Good call, but I actually looked up the September international break (4th-12th) first before booking, and we will arrive right as it is finishing, so there should be Wycombe games around the 14th, 21st and 28th.
They go on tour again to the US to play the reserve/U21 teams of Chelsea and Bournemouth and another game.
They were absolute dog shit in League Two at the beginning of last season after the tour, it’s the worst possible preparation but brings in lots of money.
Wrexham at home would be ideal.
Ta, at least that removes one of the worst elements of tv games, changing the date after you've arranged to go.
Will await the full info but wasn't the international pass unaffected?
It's the in England game by game passes that will not be available for Sky games.
I'm hoping Now TV has these Sky games on. You get about 8 or 9 channels through it but not 100% if you'd need "proper" Sky to get these new games.
Hopefully not.
Either way, will wait to get the full story before renewing a pass or Now tv!
Away to Wrexham, bleh.
Edit Hadn't spotted the late kick-off. Got to keep the TV boys at home on the tele first game I suppose.
Wrexham 5.30ko by the looks of it.
Bedsheet derby on December 7th (electric blankets would be more useful)
It's also the Merseyside Derby that day and my 40th. Hopefully one gets changed to the Sunday.
Looks like all the opening day fixtures are 5:30 (for the TV) with Barnsley v Mansfield on Friday evening.
So @Shev you'll have away to Northampton (14th) and home to Cambridge (21st).
Meanwhile we'll probably have another home Saturday kick-off postponed (Mansfield 7th) for internationals.
Gutted I'll be missing my most local away day (Stockport) due to a pre arranged race. Looking forward to Wrexham on the first day and pleased none of the grounds I want to tick are clashing with other pre-existing plans. Bolton and Charlton in 4 days over Easter, at the busy end of the season, could be a huge weekend if we want to compete at the top.
Tough first month that
So do we play Bishop at Wrexham? He's likely to be facing a very hostile crowd and will certainly be a target for their fans. Perhaps best to play Rav rather than throwing him in at the deep end on his debut. Pretty sure that would have been the very last fixture he'd have wanted! Or who knows, perhaps he'll thrive under the pressure the home crowd will put him under. Big call for Bloomfield first up!
Nearly right!
Have you noticed that we've got several of the fixtures in the same time has we did last season? Reading Away I think is on the same game week as last season. Same for Charlton Away too
Does anyone know how Now TV access to get Sky might work? When there's 11 of the games at the same time, and you only get about 8 channels on Now TV, which will also include other sports, how will they choose which of these games get their presumable 3-4 slots?
Maybe only a problem first and last week of the season, and other times it'll be 1-2 games at a slot max.
@Malone Sky have said the Now TV app will update in August, in time for the start of the season, and all games will be available to stream at the same time.
What’s the story with Bishop and Wrexham?
