Have been to all of these and all above average grounds. Voting for Barnsley for the time I watched someone get thrown out (with a steward on each limb) and then they then proceeded to bang on the big metal gates.
I haven't been to Sincil Bank since "that" day in '99
Perhaps not the criteria I should be using, but those memories have led me to vote for it here. A wonderful afternoon on a big terrace that isn't even there anymore
4 great grounds, good atmospheres, important moment in our history at Lincoln in 99. Been a number of times as Grandparents lived near Sleaford.
Always liked the cricket ground at the back of Burnley, mainly as it’s where James Anderson learned his cricket.
Went to the City Ground earlier this season, had a beer in the rowing clubs alongside the Trent, really friendly locals and enjoyed talking football and the 92 with them.
Only been to Barnsley once, funnily enough with Mrs Commoner, back before we had children. Looking forward to going next season.
clicked City Ground but on second thoughts wish I’d gone for Sincil Bank.
The atmosphere seems to have been pretty good this season at the City ground even if the football hasn't, some history and being a short stroll from town/ rail help.
Do we just vote on the stadium or everything about the day out at these grounds? If the latter then it’s the Forest hands down…. The history, the river, the view from the bridge, more fans with scarves on display at KO than any other ground surely in England? The anthem at KO. I could go on but admittedly Forest is my 2nd team!
I've never actually been to Turf Moor, so that one is out. Wasn't that impressed by the City Ground when we went there, but its probably a little unfair to judge a place during a sparsely populated league cup 1st? leg game.
Close between the other two as I like Lincoln and some good memories, but went for Oakwell as its a good, solid ground, decent view and have seen some good games over the years. I remember seeing one of those games there where an opposition player absolutely rips us to shreds and you look on in admiration and envy. And then a year or two later he is suddenly playing for us (the peerless Kevin Betsy). But there were also those 3 great goals we scored a couple of years ago when we won 3-0 (Max's debut?) and of course the reverse side of the coin with probably the most ridiculous goal I've ever seen us let in a few months ago!
On. That and you can park within 5 minutes walk AND get your car washed for £10
Not sure about that, Def remember us playing them at AP around that, one of the stats websites suggests we lost to them then drew the next week at home, don't think it was two legged, think we got a draw there and came back for a replay which we lost in extra time but could be confusing it with something else.

Not been to Oakwell but a big fan of all three others. Tough group this one!
I think this one's a foregone conclusion...

Not even close this one. City Ground by a country mile.

Never seen the appeal of the City Ground, very shallow home terrace like Ewood Park
That is a horrible choice!

Found myself voting for Barnsley but very evenly matched group.
Voted for Turf Moor so obviously it’s been completely thrashed.
What’s wrong with you people?
Got to take into account the fact that 50% of the Gasroom are Forest fans

Its your own criteria - if you just like the burgers better in one place, that's enough if you say it is!

Have I imagined that one of the stands at Turf Moor and our Frank Adams stand were designed by the same people, and are pretty much identical?
I'd always thought that too
Voted for City Ground as every time we've been to Nottingham to support the Chairboys its been at County's ground!
Did I dream us playing Forest in the League Cup at the City Ground?
I can actually conjure a memory of sitting in one of the ends looking down the ground.
A little worrying if we have never played there (albeit not unexpected)
Nah, we played them - 1996, lost 1-0 https://www.11v11.com/matches/nottingham-forest-v-wycombe-wanderers-18-september-1996-33167/
Forest put out a great side that night.
It was another one of those ‘we’re in the big time’ moments!
Thanks both. I have zero recollection of how I got there and back or much about the game itself but at least it did happen!

It would have been over two legs then i think.
we lost there respectably, 1-0, then drew the 2nd leg 1-1.
Thanks, I was there but it was a while ago.
It’s interesting you mention extra time tho, I’ve also got a memory of losing there in extra time, but that’s obviously wrong.
