It's like the Porridge film where the celebrity team playing HMP Slade included "a weatherman, a local news presenter..." and it went downhill from there famewise!
The biggest question apart from why? Is how has Tom Williams of one good game for us v Bury but the whole "I'm loving it" when we lost 7'0 infamy, in any way involved in this?!

Dean Gaffney and Calum Best are the names I recognise.
What a shame - you can't buy tickets any more!
Was having a quick look at the ticket page earlier, looked like less than 30 had been sold in advance.
Would they have been better to dump Gaffney and hire Wellard?
I think they said that one of the Goodies was playing.
One for the kids there
I recognise matey from Eastenders and that's it
I mean we can debate about how well known these people are but it's still a charity event

Maybe they could get Buck Tarbrush in.

Darren Eadie and Kevin Cooper apparently
And while this event raises money for charity it wouldn’t surprise me if the organisation that runs Sellebrity Soccer is for profit.
I reckon they would possibly raise more money if one of the teams was a Wycombe Wanderers Legends side
I think a lot more locals would feel inclined to turn up
Interestingly, all of Eadie's companies appear to be dissolved - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/W0R_QvjI5nNqNFHp5Hq63E6fZsQ/appointments and I can't find anything on the charity commission.
