Considering where we were a couple of months ago when mired in that 1-in-17 streak, I would have been delighted to know we basically have six dead rubbers!
I think if you want meaning for tonight’s game the players need to read the unflattering comments about the club on the Derby thread. In fact Bloomfield should print some off and pin it in the changing room. 🙂
I would pick this to win over any of the remaining games. I still dislike Derby intensely, and it would be fun to derail their promotion push, especially if it benefits Bolton. Win-win.
The memory of the classic at AP last season and how much our victory upset the nug element in their fanbase is motivation for me. I wasn't fussed about this match after Sunday, but quite looking forward to it now. Got a feeling that Bloomfield might have the players quite up for this.
You never know how we will react to Sunday - players might want to get the taste out of their mouths as quickly as possible by playing well. Vokes and Taylor might want to prove a point. I certainly don't think it is nailed on that we get thrashed while sipping cocktails on the beach.
I’m hoping so Shev, I don’t think the players would want to leave the season on a disappointing result and especially at the last minute. Plymouth certainly didn’t suffer after we pasted them last year. I think putting on a show for fans who’ve turned up for this is the least they’d want to do and especially against a good side like Derby. A win, which I’m obviously hoping for for you, would at least prove the squad is capable for next season and with a good frame of mind.
Considering the strength of the bench on Sunday, those cup tied and there’s another game in 3 days. I think there could easily be 6 or 7 changes to the starting 11 tonight. Fresh and raring to go. COYB
Any game against these ambulance chasing parasites is a must win. Every time we beat them it's a reminder that they are a skid mark on the game under their current owner. The fact it puts us closer to promotion is a bonus.
You must really dislike us if promotion is a 'bonus'
Though it's probably more to do with jealousy. Walking through Cressex to get to the game must feel like being in some mix of Monaco and Shangri-La compared to what Derby city has to offer.

Disinterested Swan ignores provocative stance by Ram
Ram does not pay bills, arguing that it depreciated it's wool into a blank space.
Hope the boys get a heroes' welcome tonight.
Looking at the Derby forum and tonight is our real cup final, apparently.
But at the same time our season is over.
Well we do have very little to play for to be fair.
Wycombe's first meaningless game for years tonight.
Which in turn for me gives it huge meaning.

Finding it quite difficult to summon any enthusiasm for tonight at all to be honest!

I'd like to think we're a bit above letting ourselves be too concerned with the ramblings of halfwits from the East Midlands on the internet
We need to be there to support the lads who performed heroically on Sunday. We need to push for top half.
Derailing the cheats' promotion push should be all the motivation we need. COYB!
I’m so very, very sorry but I really can’t get myself up for tonight’s game after Sunday. Anyone else feeling similar?
Quite possibly my last chance to go to a Wycombe game this season too.
Hope the players more up for it than I am!
A club that thinks it has nothing to play for v a club that thinks it has nothing to pay for.

Close the Gasroom, Jonny's won.
Mate, "The ramblings of halfwits from the East Midlands on the internet" is the Gasroom's tagline.
Oh wait, Nottingham is The North™

Yes.
Especially with just 2 homes left and this odd 4 game away run coming.

No pressure on us tonight.... we could just stick 5 past them
