To be fair...I suspect every club has a section of 'true fans' who excuse appalling behaviour and threaten to crack heads on social media or their fan forum.
As we know neither of those truly reflects the majority view and often perplexes the rest of the fanbase.
There will be families and children going to the game and even if one Reading fan gets in and starts up it will be upsetting for someone nearby. 1 fan kicking off in our end is 1 too many.
i know for a fact there are people who are very anxious about conflict and even the threat of it happening would be enough to put people off
Is there anything that can be done to stop this though?
Not just petty but commercially wrong.I don’t understand how fans who understandably want us to be sustainable or spend money on players/stadiuum improvements etc can then complain if we allow opposition fans to buy tickets that would otherwise be unsold.
I know of one young lad of a friend who says he doesn't want to go to the final because of a Wycombe fan who spent most of the Sunderland game leaping around screaming 'fucking useless' for most of the second half. That was after spending a lot of the first spinning round barking 'sing up'!!! at people.
These twats are everywhere. All you can do is hope they're not near you.
@Kernow76 Do you really, 'know for a fact there are people who are very anxious about conflict and even the threat of it happening would be enough to put people off?'
I'd have thought unless you spend you spend too much time on twitter and/or the Gasroom the whole thing would have passed you by.
The ‘fans’ in front of me at Wembley…I remember standing there thinking, over 20,000 Wycombe fans and what were the odds that I get lumbered with this family. Genuinely ruined the atmosphere for me and probably number of others in the vicinity.
I posted about it recently on here. It’s a family, they were moaning the entire game shouting everything they could think of towards GA. Then, when Bayo came on, the fury was insane - followed by them turning their backs and facing away from the pitch. They spend the remainder of the game shouting about how it was a terrible substitution that cost us any chance of getting back into the game.

We shouldn't have had any fans at Milton Keynes, but that's another story
The Playtrain can get pretty rowdy
Those Reading fans are complete utter idiots. I have no sympathy for such hooligans and they simply bring their club into disrepute.
Probably a bunch of rich little Tories who have nothing better to do with their lives and think the World owes them a living.
Today I learned that Reading are nicknamed "The Royals" because they're an anachronism leeching off society.

Are there any Wycombe Wanderers fans who aren’t going to Wembley?

Are you still giving it a miss?
I heard that Reading won’t have any fans there after all as the monotonous drumming would do their head in
but there's a good chance they could get a bit of a ruck if they are near him, at least.
What on earth are you talking about?
Lol
This post, in light of today's announcement, is in very poor taste.
More of the same please..
The life of a Bristol Street Motors fan:
Group game 1: Boycott.
Group game 2: Boycott.
Group game 3: Boycott.
Round of 32: Boycott.
Round of 16: Boycott.
Quarter Finals: Boycott.
Semi Finals: We could go to Wembley, you know!
Final: WEMBERLEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Win Final: Open top bus
Lose Final: Everybody acts like it never happened.
Make your mind up. You either heard it or read it.
I’ll be giving it a miss

I’ll be giving it a miss. Hardly surprising!
What were they up to, @Gary ?
Absolutely this and I have no shame in adopting that approach. None. And I’ve never been to Carlisle Away either.
Plastic and proud.
I can’t make up my mind wether people on here are sad, stupid or both
What do you mean?
Speak for yourself. I was at the group game vs AFC Wimbledon, and the QF vs Brighton U-21.
No plastic Johnny-come-lately for me, unlike some on this forum who claim to have supported WWFC since before the Boer war.
Options are quite restricted there.
I was wondering what a castrated ram had to do with anything for a second....

Horrible neighbours.
