We're a tinpot non-league side with a shit stadium according to the followers of a team more recently non-league with a three sided ground. And IT'S NOT A DERBY IT'S NOT A DERBY IT'S NOT A DERBY IT'S NOT AAAGGGHHHHH We ought to start selling half and half scarves for this fixture just to really piss them off.
One change this year is they can't do endless 'ex fairground staff' 'midlife crisis' jokes about our manager but they still expect us to be time wasting bullyboys.
And "It's their cup final" makes its twice yearly appearance for a fixture that means nothing to them.
I really want to beat this shower and knock their fans down a peg or two. Don't care what our lads do to win today, whether it be shithousery or downright cheating its unthinkable to lose to this lot.
With the Manor ground and the kassam as their two previous homes shit stadia should be a subject avoided by pnl fans instead they should stick to that milk cup win paid for by er, never mind.
When the Thames Valley Royals get evicted from the Stade de Trois Face will they need a new training ground as well?
If we do have to suffer a ground share at The Chair Metropolis perhaps they could also share our planned shiny new training ground down at Marlow. That is still a thing right. Or is the access road / chairlift a funding priority?
I didn't get my wish that Grimmer would retain the captaincy but I'm sure he'll be a vocal presence on the pitch. It's certainly a turnaround from early January - when we were crying out for a central midfielder - to now have the quality of Butcher and Leahy on the bench.

Let’s smash the PNL!!!
COYB!!!!
Be careful what you wish for.
I got up obscenely early this morning (by my standards) expecting to see England “smashing” India in the third Test match.
Should have known better.
And no sign of a cloud over Rajkot over the next two days, never mind rain!
Probably a good observation. However, you have to be cautiously optimistic.
The Oxford forum never disappoints.

To the tune of ‘Quanta La Mera’
”It’s not a derby
No no it’s not a derby
The M40 deeeeerby
No no it’s not a derby”

Slightly out of step as usual but wanted to share this encouragingly upbeat speculation.

Is The Real EFL like The Real IRA?
If so we're still Provisional league one if it goes tits up today.
But it's OK. the Oxford fans are convinced we've paid off the ref.
Today’s official:
24 matches, 134 yellow cards, 10 red cards…
I fear for Pottsy. I just have a funny feeling the main talking point after the match will be the official.
We did and there’s plenty more where that came from.
Vokes injured
Scowen back then and straight in. Hoping KVY has a great game at LB
Interesting side. Not sure I would have left Butcher out, but it seems a positive thought process overall.

Scowen back is great news.
Vokes not even in the 18 less so.
KVY and Leahy seem to he job sharing left back now with JJ well out of it.
Hopefully we'll be well safe soon and he can captain us last game of the season for a fitting send off.
You can’t leave out Scowen or Potts, and I’m not sure Butcher fits in anywhere else in this system.
Putting the Peterborough team up under the Oxford badge on the big screen !!!!
That was odd, almost like GMac didn't realize he was in!
What are the odds of two referee injuries in the space of a few games?
Ah Bez
We’ve been brilliant this half
Koné would’ve had that.
We. Can. Not. Score.
theme of the season
Same story as so many games. Good performance no goals but to show for it.
Very good first half performance. A team playing like that definitely won’t be in a relegation scrap.
