This season we are very predictable. Likely to be a very similar shape and the line up is likely to be unchanged from Cheltenham. The whole ‘we know what to expect’ just smacks of arrogance though. Looking forward to today.
Swan vs Swann, always fun. It’s difficult to be overly optimistic with any WW game at the moment, but we did at least look defensively solid v Cheltenham.
That said, PUFC are top of the goalscoring charts and Chelts nearly bottom, so it’ll be a very different game today.
A few people on here (who perhaps didn’t see Gideon Kodua playing for West Ham against us) seem to think, because he scored their only goal, that he must be a forward.
For West Ham he played wide left but had moved inside when he scored the screamer from outside the box.
I will be very disappointed if he doesn’t soon make his debut.
Likewise, I think we’d be missing a trick if Kone is left on the bench again.
I suppose the truth is, especially on the left of midfield, we are spoilt for choice.

Nice one.
Not much optimism on the Posh forum for this. They think Wycombe is the worst place to come to break their losing streak.
Darren Ferguson thinks the AP pitch is the best in League 1, and says he knows what to expect at Wycombe. We don't.

Today sees Bloomfield go up against his future self a.k.a Bloomfield 2036

A pearly gate in the background, Pete tucking into a bag of chips, this badge could be epic.
Not much optimism for me. HOWEVER a greasy pitch and the threat of Kone attacking at pace gives me some positivity.
I wonder if we might shake it up again to confound a Peterborough team expecting us to play 4231. I could see a 433:
McCarthy Grimmer Low Earley
Butcher Potts Leahy
McCleary Vokes Sadlier
If Matt wanted to go higher risk he could have a front line of
Kodua Lubala Kone
and then bring the most established three on in the second half after the kids had run them ragged.
Nobody expects the 5-4-1 formation!!!!

I should have checked Wikipedia before posting. Kodua is described there as a forward.
Hey Ho.
I see Kodua as a younger version of McCleary, starts wide, direct and not afraid to have a shot!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So something like:
Grimmer Low Tafazolli Vincent-Young
Potts Butcher
McCleary Taylor Sadlier
Kone
Who’s at left back?
Must be KVY
Kone starts !!
This might be a back three but hoping not.
Leahy must have a knock or being rested for Tuesday.
same as Vokes.
Good line up....only negative for me is Taylor...swap him for leahy or vokes then spot on.
Win this one today and we can begin to feel confident of staying up. A bit.
Win today and we're 15 points off the playoffs.
Please don't tell me KVY has been preferred over Leahy !!
Steady on, you’re getting a bit giddy there.
Lose this today and we could be one point out of relegation spot
That's conshie talk!
Port Vale and Exeter already leading.
Too many Posh corners for my liking.
Good game so far
What did the (ex) drummer get kicked out for?
Nothing. He’s back in.
Poor game of football. Says a lot about league 1 quality this season (compared to prior years) when they’re 4th.
