  • Sadly, based on the fact that our highest ever league position was achieved 20 years ago, maybe more bad ones than good?

  • Time has moved on and Beeks has had his day. I feel he should now keep out of any decision making at the club. He did great things for the club but unfortunately a lot of the good things have been cancelled out by his ill judged decisions in later years.

  • So when he (and it's not likely he's solely responsible) employs a manager that does well it's nothing to do with him, but when a manager fails it's all Beeks fault???

    Laughable.

And what about John Gorman and Paul Lambert? Both good managers for us. Did he get 'lucky' with them as well?

  • Gorman and Lambert were Hayes picks.

  • Martin O'Neill - a Parry pick with Beeks needing persuading
    Alan Smith - good one
    John Gregory - not bad
    Neil Smillie - horrendous
Lawrie Sanchez - good choice until inexplicably offering him a mega long term deal
    Tony Adams - atrocious

  • Alan Smith is the poorest manager we have had since getting league status.

  • Alan Smith - good one ?????
The huge budget Beeks gave Gregory to keep us in the third tier,
were the beginning of Beeks financial mismanagement.

  • Alan Smith was a prize plum

  • Smith destroyed all that Martin O'Neill built at the club in a short space of time, what is the prick up to these days anyone know?

  • Pruning Beek's Plum trees in the Algarve ????

  • Mafia of the Mediocre

  • @ChasHarps you missed the sarcasm in my post

  • Neil Smillie wasn't horrendous he was just out of his depth he had a good record with the youth team .

  • ?Behave! We had a horrific disciplinary record under that clown, who can forget Preston at home?
