Runcorn 1993 Memorabilia
A friend found this pennant whilst clearing out a cupboard in his office so passed it on me.
A great piece of memorabilia for those who were there. Unfortunately slightly before my time, but is there a chance that this could be the original pennant passed on by Andy Kerr to the Runcorn captain just before kickoff? Or is there a chance that some duplicates might be knocking about? I have to say it’s looks remarkably similar to the original …

I'm not sure how to authenticate whether it was the original presented by Andy Kerr to Runcorn captain Gary Anderson, who knows what happened to it when Runcorn went bust in 2006.
I'd suggest you contact the club, see if they can advise you.
This is the commercially available one that I've got, certainly different to the one posted by @PukkaPie so I suppose the latter could possibly be the original.
It was 2-1 against Cheltenham wasn't it?
No, definitely 3-1. Carroll, Scott and Kerr.
Not sure on the history but there's 2 Runcorn teams now, Runcorn Town who play in the north west counties league and Runcorn Linnets who play in the northern premier league.
A few years ago Runcorn Town played a few matches on a Monday night so would go over.
Does anybody have a pic of the front and back of the ‘Road To Wembley’ t-shirt for the Kidderminster game? I swear half the kids in my school had that! Including me…
Is it dark blue on the back? I found this image.
The road to Wembley '93 one is here. The '91 shirt here I also remember every child in 10 mile radius wearing. Grrrrrreat days.
Ah yes!!! It was the ‘93 t shirt I meant, not ‘91!!!
The days of fantastic merchandise. I still enjoy looking through all the catalogues. Oh for the simple swan and scroll crest. Can't be doing with the roundel.
Whilst we are on the subject, does anybody have any photos of Wanderers In Town at all?
I had a sweatshirt with a white collar, but it had a knitted section across the middle that was sort of like a scarf, which had "Wycombe Wanderers" on it.
It was every bit as appalling as that description makes it sound, but I wore it to death.
@eric_plant Leave no stone unturned in trying to find either the sweatshirt or a photo of it, please. Sounds idyllic!
Memorabilia is overpriced shite now. Would love to be able to buy the kids some good stuff now.
This is a fabulous haul! I’ll be even more impressed if any of it still fits you!
I’ll treat you all to a pick of my 30 year old single duvet WWFC bed spread tomorrow!
I would say it's the original...there won't have been loads made I would think
I recently moved house and had to put loads of 1992..1997 programmes in a skip. Broke my heart. Kept the Wembley ones and an Oxford away one which covered the 'exciting move' to their new stadium. (Lol)
