Not only them, there's been a general upward trend for many clubs in Leagues 1, 2 and the National League. Clubs of a similar size to us, Orient, Exeter, Cambridge all seem to be pulling in more fans. Look at Exeter, pretty much selling out the home areas on Boxing Day despite not having won for 12 games. If that Boxing Day fixture had been at AP, the chances of a home sellout would have been zero. Smaller clubs like Morecambe and Stevenage have also increased their fanbases (granted, Stevenage are in a decent league position, but would we want to watch that every week?). Meanwhile, we seem to be bucking the trend. OK, we are down on our knees at the moment, but so were Exeter. We've never needed our fans to stick with us more than we do now.
Be interesting to see a comparison of ticket prices OR ticket offers for certain games for these clubs, compared to ours.
Orient is a London club with good transport links and easy to walk to for your local fans.

There is a huge Essex diaspora from that part of the East End. They travel back in of a Saturday to drink in the pubs on Leyton High Road and reminisce of times past when welk stalls replaced fried chicken shacks and the smoke of roasting chestnuts rather than flavoured vapes filled the air.
