How many years have you seen?
In a recent post, there was a claim that only a small number of the posters were under the age of 40. On the poll, can you indicate which age bracket you fall into. I find this interesting as I have no idea who's behind the username except those that have disclosed their age freely.
If you don't feel comfortable, that's fine.
By the way, I can't see who has voted & what they have voted so everything is anonymous

In fairness it was a light hearted throw away remark..not to be taken too seriously.
No, this is good analysis
I was under the impression that the Gasroom had an xA of 103
Happy to declare myself as an age where I am old enough to qualify as a Senior for WWFC season tickets but not yet old enough to claim (or not as the case may be) my state pension.
(First Wycombe game 1 Jan 1966)
Teenage Fanclub unlikely to be the new name for this forum.
Teenage fan club's fan club are quite old now.
30 odd different people randomly reading and contributing within a couple of hours on a non-matchday is an interesting stat too.
I like Teenage Fanclub 🙋 Sparky's Dream is my favourite indie anthem about Mark Hughes.
"30 odd different people"
Yeah, that sums up the Gasroom pretty succinctly.
It's a fun analysis of those that want to reply. My guess is we have a lot more young'uns who will vote but maybe don't voice opinion much.
And one person at any time throwing their toys out and 'not taking part.'
So after 50 votes, we have:
0 members aged 15-19's
5 members aged - 20-29's
9 members aged - 30-39's
14 members aged - 40-49's
9 members aged - 50-59's
10 members aged - 60-69's
2 members aged - 70-79's
No over 80's and 1 person who voted not to take part.
I'd say that a decent split of ages, which in turn brings about different views and life experiences & a mixtures of those who supported the club and witnessed to our 3rd, 4th & 5th league titles in the 70's and the troubles between the 70's & 80's and trying to get into the Alliance Premier League (Current National League) before making that step in the mid/late 80's. Then seeing the club's rise under Martin O'Neil getting into the Football League in the early 90's. Then our Cup runs in the 2000's (FA Cup 2001 & League Cup 2007) before the GA era.
I have just guested that we have all been WWFC Fans and have always tried to go to matches. Then again, people might have seen bits from one decade and some from others as they had to move away or lost interest in periods. But I do find it really interesting
30 different odd people...
I don't know how to run a poll but would be interested to see how many years Gasroomers have been following the blues/ going to games?
Haha, that did make me laugh that one person has gone to the trouble of taking part , to say they are not taking part
made you look
Was it you?
huh?
Where's the option for 'too many'?
Easy enough...
Start a new discussion - dark blue button top right - 'New Discussion', then continue as usual with the category, discussion title etc, making sure you tick the 'Attach Poll' box, then fill in the poll title, question, and options. Post the discussion, and off you go!
(That's on a PC by the way - on a phone, the 'New Discussion' button is near the bottom, after the first page of discussion titles.)

I’ve had a break from the Gasroom so missed this poll. I’ve come clean about being 80 ++ but I don’t think I’m alone as I believe @wingnut, for one, is of similar vintage.
I'm also an octogenarian. Don't think that there are too many of us in the Gasroom.
The 90 or so people who have voted doesn't look too dissimilar to the national figures
And people say the Gasroom isn't reflective of UK society!
@ReturnToSenda it's unlikely me or you will be able to retire before we go mate due to an ever ageing population. If we have any jobs to retire from as the bots take over.
