Played well, but would love us to stop treating the ball like its a bomb through the middle. At times we're told to get it down the channels so quickly, you can see the panic in their eyes as they lump it wide.
Some games when a team goes down to ten, you barely notice the difference. Not today. We're being given so much space. Could easily be winning by more, hope we're as dominant second half. Really enjoyed that so far.
One of the most dominant halves by us I can remember. I just wish we had that second!
Agree with pretty much everything above. Potts has been smooth and brilliant, GMac unplayable, Hanlan feisty, Vokes dangerous, and surely Pattenden has earned the next start?
It's brilliant how much Grimmer is clearly enjoying Pattenden's performance despite being a rival for his position. I'm sure you wouldn't get that at every club.
Not sure how much I like the trick of hiding behind the keeper but it was definitely effective.
And, thank goodness, he’s one of our own. Got to be in the running for man of the match but plenty of contenders.
Special mention for Richard Keogh. First time he’s reminded us of how good he was as an 18 year old on loan here. Great organiser and when he heads the ball it stays hit.
Definite red. Why the f#ck did Josh take the free kick? Not sure on the pen seemed harsh from where I was. Carlisle looked poor and we looked good 11v11. Would like to keep the tempo and get a few goals but I fear the ‘professional job’ is score one more then kill the game and shut up shop!
The irony is that shutting up shop and letting them have the initiative might be the only way they would have a sniff of getting back in it! I understand at 2-0 up on a better team, but against a ten man team we are dominating, I hope we keep pushing if we do get the second!
Also, Carlisle at home, of all fixtures, should remind us of the dangers of a ten man team!

We’re so much better than we were at the start of the season, really impressed today having missed the last few games.
My word we have a footballer in Freddie Potts
Pattenden really impressive today so far, classy on the ball and hard working
Only heartbreak is that there’s no chance we have him beyond this season, but got to enjoy him while he’s here.
Potts has been utter class this half. A joy to watch. Jasper’s done the business too.
Potts by far the best player on the pitch.

Really good 1st half. All over them from start to finish. Very frustrating however that our only goal is from a terrible penalty decision.
Really need to get a second early 2nd half. We shouldn't be giving Carlisle a sniff with dominance like this.
Should be looking for a 3 or 4 nil win here. Not sure we've really got the players to do it though.
Controlled the game for most of it, although often without really looking that dangerous.
Excellent from Pattenden. Looks very comfortable in that position.

2nd half plan:
give the ball to Gmac and have him running at them. Don’t think they can handle him.
Oi

Keogh imperious
Carlisle’s kit is something out of the 90s
We are making Carlisle look dangerous. Frustrating.
Swap Hanlan for Taylor
Sluggish stuff this half. We’ll let them back in if we don’t pick up.
Can we ask the ref to let them have an 11th player?
Vokesy
How good has Vokes been today?
Extremely
What did their keeper get sent off for?
Very, as have lots of others, must be a good feeling around the place right now.
The way to play like Phillips is to constantly push people over then get very angry when they're rightfully given as fouls
