Kinda negative reflection on our second half performance in a way but two world class saves from Max clinched it for me.
Very very difficult this week. Max edged it for me. Faultless.
Those two saves were incredible.
One of those weeks where almost everyone could garner votes. Went with Leahy because he seemed to be everywhere.
Even I went for Stryjek this week. Though Potts was a narrow second.
I thought Leahy bossed the first third.
Then Hanlan provided the magic in the next third.
And the final period was obviously Max.
Anyway, Brandon just nicked it for me
Thought Josh was outstanding but Max a very worthy winner. So good to have some choices and it not just obviously be the guy who runs around most
Leahy for me. Calm, collected, good passing and he played some great stuff to Vokes...just no-one there to feed off the knock downs.
I went McCleary. Some good performances out there (and those two world class saves) but thought he oozed class today.
Got to be Max, two amazing saves.
If either of those go in absolutely no one is pointing the finger of blame at the keeper.
Don't actually think anyone had a poor game today. A lovely afternoon at Adams Park.
If no one is voting Josh, you know we played very well.
It also shows how well we played that Potts, Boyes and Vokes are sitting on a combined zero votes! They were all superb, and Vokes won the official club MOTM.
Max when called upon delivered. But there were several out there worthy of a vote. Leahy was superb at centre half. Vokes did Vokes very well. Hanlan showed what he can do. The sun was out so GMac was joyous.
Whichever De Barr family member voted for him, I do think his minute and a half was legendary, just not quite enough for my vote!
Surely we all know who voted for TJ!

It's funny but I thought (cross assist aside) Gmac was a bit anonymous but that's football I suppose.
Really?! He was superb - so much so that I fear we may lose someone already bordering on legendary status in the January window.

I hope that neither goes, although I see GMac becoming more of an impact sub when Sadlier is match fit
