As I understand it, Alex McCarthy got on so well with his GK coach at Wycombe, that when said coach moved to Reading's academy, McCarthy asked to go too. He went for a small fee and I understand Wycombe got a sell-on when Reading sold him. He wasn't part of the Nathan Tyson transfer as fas as I'm aware, but happy to be corrected.

Tiffony has left Thistle at the end of his contract. He would be a good signing for us, but will probably end up at an SPL club.
In fact he has just signed for newly promoted Dundee.
