When Barnsley lost to Sheff Wed the other day the one thing I clocked in the immediate moments after full-time was Stockdale chatting/consoling with the Reds keeper who had played a blinder and yet was cruelly beaten at the death. It was the mark of a very decent man to comfort the chap by saying I know how you feel.
I'll admit right now that part of the reason I come on here is to enjoy speculating, hypothesizing and imagining things that didn't or may not happen (past close shaves, season forecast, current rumours etc.). Thankfully there are always reliable folks around to point out that they didn't or might not, in case anyone had forgotten. 🙂

That's where he started out
Excellent city York and he's also going to be their head of recruitment so a great move for him to remain up north.

A top, top bloke
Love Stocko. We really have done well with goalkeepers lately, culminating in Mad Max.
I still maintain if we’d started with Stockdale in our Championship season we wouldn’t have gone down.
Especially if Uche and Taffs had been fit from the start too. Oh to have that back!
Iffs Butts and Maybe - what a back three.
