Terry Glynn
Nearest to the Camera is our wonderful ex striker Terry Glynn at Bobby Dell's funeral last week.
I don't know whether it was that gates took a plummet in the early 80's, but there is never much of a mention or appreciation for what a fantastic centre forward Glynn was during his 4 years at the club.

I used to love watching Terry Glynn and Steve Long playing together. Takes my mind back to the FA Trophy run to the semi finals in 81/82...
Doesn't really look much older there than when he was playing for us.
Always remember his Dad up in the old Blues Club, seemed like a proper East Ender type.
His Dad was Alf, always used to occupy the table in the blues club nearest to the back entrance to the stand. Often accompanied by the Jacobs family clan. A lovely old chap, and like you say the archetypal Chirpy Cockney.
Terry probably the best two foot finisher, I daw in a blue shirt.
He was ‘the striker’ when I started watching the Wanderers. Top player!
A natural goal scorer, always in right place. We could do with him now.
