No idea whatsoever, but it did remind me of the Hayes keeper of the late 70s, Alan Jarrett, who was capable of the odd astonishing save, and seemed ready to thwart us at every opportunity back then...
@micra I have myself, in the past, put in an official complaint about the difficulty level of Chas’s Sunday ‘teasers’ - but said complaint was dismissed out of hand as some people still manage to get the right answers! (Albeit sometimes needing clues...) This one, however, looks tougher than any - and way past my abilities.
Great work Mr Newbs, it was a difficult one. I used to attend all the home capital league games at Loakes Park. I thought Ricketts made more that 2 appearences, but the Wanderers archive site says 2.
I can remember thinking he looked ok, he went onto play for Oxford City, Abingdon utd.
@ChasHarps Certainly was a toughie, would never have got that just by the photo, had to search the web archive and my own records, plus your clue, and then only got it by a process of elimination.
His only goal was in the Capital League, April 10 1986 at Loakes Park, WWFC 4 Barnet 1, attendance 60 (don't think I was one of them)!
Andy Harman (2) and Roy Fairchild got the other goals.

Mr Humphrey? Humphries?
He looks nothing like John Inman.
@ChasHarps Any clues as to which era?
Late 1980's, He started his career with PNL as a youth.
Actually Mid 80's.
Kenny Glasgow?
No idea but he’s chipped his tooth

Is it Clyde, one of the stewards, in the terrace? For me, there is quite a resemblance!
Slightly difficult? You must be Joe King @ChasHarps.
No answers are correct yet, I remember Alan Jarret, not tall or commanding, but had tremendous agility.
The player pictured scored in the Capital league for us.
I think he was brought to the club by John Maskell.
Rolston Ricketts?
