Ipswich tickets
Poor sales means we've opted to reduce our ticket allocation. Presumably a few quid will come out way too.

🎟️ Tickets are still available for our fixture vs Ipswich Town (A).
After discussions and working with Ipswich Town we have been able to extend the allocation for the home side.
#Chairboys wanting the make the trip to Portman Road should buy in advance. There will be no on the day sales to visiting supporters.

This is unbelievably bad. Unless our fans have decided to go to Mass and pray as it's Good Friday.
Is it unbelievable? Two games in quick succession with Easter Eggs in between (for those who did not start on them when they went on sale in January) and will the Ipswich game be available on that interweb for us in the UK as it's a week day?
Is that really the case? Or have we opted not to take more than our initial 1,000 allocation?
Our ticket allocation hasn't been reduced...

Happy to be corrected on this but it certainly sounded as if we'd given up some of our allocation. Still unclear on how extra tickets have been made available to home fans if we haven't.
Sounds like they put some extras aside in case we sold our initial allocation quickly (nice of them) and are now releasing them back to their own fans as we haven't.
They're getting huge crowds this season.
They have sold out their home tickets.
EFL regs state we are entitled to lower of 2000 or 10% of capacity - so 2000 tickets.
We can't sell that many so have agreed some of those can be sold to home supporters (perhaps for 50%of proceeds on those?)
Slightly of topic, but the BBC's current drama 'Magpie Murders' is set in and around Ipswich.
Let's hope Matt can unlock the riddle of the Horses' defence.
Of course, Wycombe Wanderers are in town.
Mmm. So we complain that they take up when they bring too many fans and encroach on our beloved empty seats, then can't be a***d to travel in any numbers to fill the empty seats they've offered us for a crucial Bank Holiday fixture. If that's impressive, the word has changed its meaning.
We have finally found the opposition fans who would want to watch us every week.
I didn't understand a single word of this!
Agreed. A club of our size should be taking 30,000 to a ground a mere 2hours away on a Bank holiday weekend in the throes of a cost of living crisis.
I think 642 is a decent turnout for a club our size, especially as you can’t pay on the day which would have swelled the numbers beyond 700.
Our local neighbour Oxford United only managed 550 on their Boxing Day visit. A much easier day to travel and on a day known for increased gates and travelling fans.
Lets hope Matty can stop the Ipswich juggernaut with a smash and grab at Portman Road.
