Good half away from home against a good side on a bobbly pitch. Professional so far. Gutted about Taffs, but with he, Mawson and Forino you always feel like the next injury absence is coming, unfortunately. I am guessing that awful pitch gets a big assist, though.
I think Wing has been outstanding on second balls, which was not one of his strengths for us on arrival. Testament to Ainsworth’s coaching. Wing has been absolutely outstanding. Freeman started fairly well too.
Big second half ahead without Tafa. We need to keep making it a horrible scrap of a game. Really impressed with our approach in that nature so far.
Lastly, +4 mins was an absolute disgrace there from a neutral / Port Value POV. Should’ve been +8 minimum given all the disruption. It’s very obvious why GA is so keen on his ‘dark arts’.
I’d agree with that. But I wish he’d forget about the cow in Josh’s surname. Having said that, it was almost entirely in the pre-match chat with Phil that the herd of cows featured. During the game, references to Scowen were restricted to Phil for the most part.

We are an extremely precautious club.
This wWing territory
A clear sign that Wakely is just there to make up the numbers.....
Got a stammer in my excitement
Yep, when 2 right backs and a left back are used to make up a back 3, and you leave a center back on the bench says it all
Nothing unusual about full-backs at RCB and LCB, but agreed about Wakely
In McCarthy's first spell with us he was primarily a centre back wasn't he?
Clearly a big step up from Wakeley though, who surely doesn't have much chance of staying on in the summer.
Will retract my comment I made in a previous match around Gab Sutton, once you get past the grate of his voice he’s very insightful.

What a load of rubbish I’m spouting.
I've always pronounced it like cow
And, to be fair, you may well be right.
Sorry missed this, how else could SCOW-EN be pronounced?
SCO-WEN?
I think I have a Sutton prejudice.
As if it rhymed with Cohen
Great effort by Vokes
Phil consistently Cohens it.
Another goal would clinch this.
Not sure what Obita is playing at there
Are we going to see Chem on the pitch today?
Certainly hope Chem gets on
Been really impressed so far with our fairly makeshift defence, especially JJ & Grimmer
Two subs before 65 minutes!!!!
Radical !!
3 including McCarthy.
GMac should have scored there
Lots of yellows today - tight ref or have we just gone a bit mad?
Mostly deserved, from what I remember. The pitch prepared by Prairie dogs lends itself to badly timed tackles.
Mostly deserved I think, lively game.
We need to win this.
Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Peterborough all winning.
