THE FORECAST:

Scowen would probably walk this again if it were not for his injury. With him now out until the new year potentially, the race looks much more likely to come down to Mehmeti, Mawson and Stryjek right now. Great seasons so far from Gape and Freeman too, and even the much malign Horgan has a MOTM award and the 7th most votes per start.

Spare a thought for JJ. Bottom of all 21 players who qualify with a single vote from five starts.

    Good to see Nick getting the recognition he deserves. I agree with whoever said that, against Oxford, we should stick to the same starting lineup although I suppose either Grimmer or JJ will have to play alongside Mawson if (as seems likely) Forino is unavailable.

    Looks like Max Stryjek is going to become a real fans’ favourite.
