Predicting this evening’s gate is clearly proving tricky. It must be a very long time since there was such a gulf (circa 1,000) between the highest and the lowest prediction. If we were expecting a 6,000 - 7,000 gate against one of the bigger clubs on a Saturday, such a range wouldn’t be so surprising, of course.
I’m not expecting to climb too far in the attendance table this evening !

Our lowest gate of the season.
We played them near enough three years ago in Lge1 on Tuesday Sept 17th and the crowd was 3566 with 40 from Accrington.
We were third at the time and unbeaten at home
But we didn't have the "match day experience" then!

3434 including 34 who can answer the question "Accrington Stanley, who are they?"
“Exactly”
