@FrijidPink plenty of our guys are flat sharing, car pooling to games etc. That is what your typical twenty something getting paid twenty something would be doing. It tells you everything about what some of those guys are earning. I suspect many of the younger players would be better off in a financial sense if the were playing part time in the non league and had a better paying 'real' job.
Hence the reason, players under 24 look to better their income as soon as they can, which causes contract issues and resentment.
When their Agent/Management/Family team say Club A and Club B are prepared and will pay you 1k - 1500 a week, but your present club offer you a few hundred quid less, then what do you expect a u24, a big smile and high fives while they continue to car/flat share etc.
