July 30th start? This is getting absurd. The last week of July & first week of August was always the traditional holiday fortnight in High Wycombe. Less so now with the demise of the local furniture trade but this is peak holiday time. I’ve never known us start in July before.
You say that it's because of the World Cup but our fixtures aren't affected by the World Cup! Remember the 1st Round of the FA Cup starts in Nov which is why Nov looks a little light. I think League 1 & 2 should start later, Championship and Premier League need to as they'll be shut for 6-8 weeks
Having the day after the month is the US date format. It's been rapidly taking over in the UK for the last year or so but I find it harder to read. Happily the fixture list page is still in the UK format, but the news story on the fixture list release is in the US format.

First signing of the summer TBA? 🤔 https://twitter.com/wwfcofficial/status/1539880003906797568?t=f6sJgP26ZguACmuyM2JwkQ&s=19
Burton at home.
6 years in a row at home to start the season, remarkable
Ipswich away on Good Friday looks like a stand-out fixture...
October looks particularly tasty!!!
final game a away at Portsmouth

Starting early because of the world Cup. But I agree, feels way too early for me as well
There is a winter World Cup (and the Carabao Cup 3rd game) to fit in in November remember !!
And we play a friendly at Worthing on August 2nd, it's all madness I tell you...
That's only a dev friendly

Isn't the early start to fit in the Carabao third round before the WC?
It's hardly early anyway - season started on 3rd August in 2013 and 2019
Shhh don't tell Worthing it's only the dev boys, it was probably part of the deal to bring him here
It actually was!
Bit odd we haven't announced our pre season friendlies by now
Do keep up oldest son, you must have heard of a cheeky little event in Qatar.
@ReturnToSenda I had something penned about "ensuring our traditional 1st round exit", when you posted about Norwich.
Quickly realised that was still a prediction, and the draw oddly isn't until 2.30pm!?
Are both the first two rounds of the FA Cup in November? We could go a long time without a home game if the daw is unkind.
So annoying they are using American date formats now, I find it really hard to read
Who is?
The wycombe website
I see dates written as `Sat 29 Apr` etc.
Shows as 'Sat Jul 30' for me, which still isn't really American as it has the name of the month abbreviated rather than just a digit?

Annoyingly they haven't labelled the fixtures as H/A - they give the ground in small font, but that's not very useful for quick reference.
That's not how it appears for me @ReturnToSenda it shows H & A clearly
I mean in the fixtures section of the app
£100 on the train for Bolton, Ouch.
