Brilliant day, amazing season.

OK so we lost in the end but when you sit back and look just what the Manager and the club have achieved in one year you have to take your hat off to them. We were so VERY close to going out of existence and although we didn't go up we have had three nerve wracking games full of the spoils of television rights and an added cash bonus that will help us keep going as a club next year.

We've lost on penalties with Southend equalising with about 30 seconds left. Not a great game but the players grafted and hopefully enjoyed that experience. Alex Lynch has played 3 games for Wycombe including 1 at Wembley and taken part in a penalty shoot out - that sort of experience is PRICELESS! We now have a number 2 that could come in at the drop of a hat now for next season which must please GA.

Wycombe are alive and well - have added some revenue to the coffers and been able to up our exposure level to attract some more players for next season if some of the names move back to their parent clubs or depart.

It's a shame we didn't make it over the line BUT I feel we will be so much stronger for this next season AND the season beyond in League 1. I have a feeling that we'll win the league next year....
