Have just read what they allow in terms of bags - are they serious? Nothing larger than A4 in size! Just about big enough for a programme and a packet of crisps!!
Could you crush all your crisps to dust and take them in that way? Reckon you could get 3 or 4 family sharers in your manbag and then drink the dust directly from that during the game.
I too was planning to take my usual Adams Park bag, which is no bigger than a child's rucksack - but it still exceeds the stated dimensions. I shall be therefore very annoyed if I see larger bags being allowed in, after deciding to play safe and stick to the rules.
An A4 bag will be stopped with great gusto. Sunderland score a goal and a number of their fans leap up to celebrate will see the same jobsworths staring at their toes.
My favourite stewards this year were Stevenage. A number of them had ear pieces and they touched them like they were guarding Potus. It was joyous. I hope to see the same level of commitment tomorrow if someone sees a foolscap sized bag.
Sadly missed Wimbledon but I heard great things. The Stevenage one was memorable to me as it was a small cup game and they waded in with peak commitment to our CEO when we equalised.

They say that, but they let flag bags in and they're definitely bigger than A4, so 🤷♂️
Wouldn't take any chances, the focus will be on the security teams tomorrow, bit Jobsworth in places to be expected
Thank you for this @adamspark, I was planning on taking my standard football backpack but not now! Very restrictive in all aspects.
@Wendoverman's crisp bag is a lot bigger than that.
Luckily I have an A4 size bag...just a case of careful packing.

You echo my thoughts completely @adamspark!
Should be given a medical exemption.
This is A4 sized. No-one said anything about depth.

Did you go to Wimbledon?

Unfortunately they did - same depth as width!

Best make that A4 a landscape jobbie then to maximise width and depth
You have to expect much harsher rules in bigger stadiums.
No taking in umbrellas, padded cushion to sit on, and massive bags crammed with your whole 3 course meal like at Adams Park :D
Will I be able to bring in rhubarb?

What about my Tunnock's Wafers?😳🤔
.....and my Random's Juicers!
