MK Dons fans rip out seats?

Reading the MK Dons forum, I see that about 30 of their fans apparently tore out seats after each of the two goals. Anyone know if there is any truth in this? I expect it is true, as it was their own fans berating the culprits with one or two threatening to never go to another away game again, especially as it happened at PNL as well.

  • Real Wombles collect litter; plastic Wombles collect plastic. Makes sense.

  • Just outside the school next to the Hour glass there was an amusing stand off between 2 sets of chavs with some big talk along the lines of "what you gonna do" to the other set who replied with similar.

Saw a single police office strolling over who I dare say broke it up in a few seconds.

Probably the seat rip out mentality type.

  • After the home defeat to MK a few months ago, I saw a kid walking down Hillbottom Road quite openly gloating about the seat he was clutching. If I was not with a guest, I'm pretty sure I would have made him eat it. Do these kids have proud parents?? We were all young and stupid once but that's criminal damage/vandalism in broad daylight, and he thinks it's funny.

  • Maybe we should employ Wimbledon's crack squad of army commandos (sorry, "stewards") for a select bunch of games...

Apparently there’s a band playing at Adams Park in a few weeks so they thought they would do us a favour and make a head start.

  • I saw one MK fan being escorted by the police into the back of a van after the game…

  • A bloke in his thirties started 'the chant' as he walked down the road and then got pissed off as no-one joined in. He was not clutching a seat though.

  • Maybe they are going to install them in their homes so they can reminisce about when they saw the mighty Wycombe.

  • Taking seats out, is what MK do.

  • Whilst obviously appalling behaviour, let's not be quick to judge. High Wycombe has a long and proud heritage in chair making. Milton Keynes has no history at all. It is understandable that some would want to take home a souvenir from their enriching cultural experience.

    Plastic seats RIP.

  • Chairboys 2 - seat snatching franchise 0.

  • When West Ham left the Boleyn Ground some enterprising club chaps purchased all of the pale blue seats that made up the WHU name on the seats. The club have them in storage and gradually replace the old dark blue broken ones in the away end. The ‘pixilated’ look (a la the new Brentford stadium) make the end look fuller on camera - not that we’ll need it next season when the likes of Everton come to town.

  • I’ve taken pity on MK so with apologies to mister mister

Take our broken seats and learn to fly again in the old division three

  • Have to say their squishy seats were rather comfy, especially for those from Chalfont St Giles.

  • Very comfortable seats with just a little bit of padding.

There’s no need for apologies when you consider the music crime that Mister Mister have inflicted on innocents.

  • I read it as more from Blackbird off the White Album?

  • Their seats were quite nice to bounce on at the end!

  • “bounce around in their squishy seats,
bounce around in their squishy seats”
    etc etc

That’s true, in fact I can’t stand the song. It’s only slightly better than Gonna write a classic gonna write it in an attic which actually makes me angry when I hear it, strange if I say so myself
