Iraq have a good chance tomorrow night to get to the AFC Fourth Round. They beat UAE over the weekend who sit in the coveted third spot for a Fourth Round tie. With one game to go UAE play South Korea tomorrow night, South Korea are top and have not lost. Iraq play Syria in Dubai who are currently bottom of the group.

If they overhaul UAE they will then play Australia in the one off Fourth round tie to get to the Inter Confederation Play-Off for a spot in the World Cup. Peru, Colombia or Chile await if they get that far.

    Don’t they make it tough for those sides. I guess it’s to make sure the same old South American sides get to the World Cup

    It's a very long schedule of games but very weak opposition until they reach the Inter Confederation Play-Off Final. Not one AFC team in the Top 20 FIFA rankings and Australia are 37th. Iraq are currently 74th.

    Colombia 19th, Peru 22nd and Chile 26th should be sterner opposition.

    Interestingly this final qualifying game is being played in Doha during June when it will be over 40* in the day and over 35* in the evening. Madness.
