...hadn’t stopped going” ?? Advice please @HCblue, sir.

Not sure I'm the Oracle on this (or anything) but "..if I hadn't stopped going..." makes perfect sense to me.

Not sure if English is one of your main subjects but on the evidence of your posts in general and the occasional “guidance” you offer on punctuation etc I’d be surprised if it isn’t. Appreciate your affirmative response.

  • Well done to all those with close predictions.
Very poor home turnout today. Really don't know what we have to do to pull in more people. Don't buy the Christmas shopping stuff, you can do that on a Sunday, or online.
I suppose some people might have renewed worries about Covid, but surely if you're out in the open air watching a game, you're as safe as it's possible to be.
Far safer than wandering round the shops I'd have thought.

Very easily thrown out comment but what reason is there for today to be considered a very poor home turnout? I’m not sure we’ve had a bigger crowd against Wimbledon before and I think there are many varied reasons for people not going. Plenty have COVID at the moment as one example

Well there you go. Your Christmas shopping theory looks spot on but I still think match day attendance is still very much pandemic related. It can’t be the ‘best stadium in the EFL’ or the much discussed match day experience
