Local derby + others next Tuesday (26th)
Next week there are some promising games on locally if you’re interested in seeing a match. I’ve never understood why the EFL don’t schedule a round of fixtures during half-term week when kids often need entertaining. Here are some alternatives (all 7.45 kick-offs):
NATIONAL LEAGUE:
Maidenhead United v Wrexham
Wealdstone v Grimsby Town
NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH:
Brackley Town v Alfreton Town
NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH:
Slough Town v Bath City
SOUTHERN LGE PREM DIV SOUTH:
Chesham Utd v Beaconsfield Town
As ever, if you go to a game & can post a brief match report on this thread, people seem to enjoy reading them.

In Spartan Division One on Tuesday, Amersham Town host Winslow United. 7:30 pm at Spratleys Meadow.
Risborough Rangers v Flackwell Heath sounds a good one!
In tonight’s other local matches Risborough Rangers edged out Flackwell Heath 1-0 in the Spartan League Premier Division derby. A match dominated by defences saw Risborough take a first-half lead. Although Flackwell tried very hard for an equaliser it was the home side that took all 3 points. A crowd of 202 saw the game.
Elsewhere, Chesham United & Beaconsfield Town shared the points in a
2-2 draw at the Meadow. Maidenhead surprisingly saw off 10-man Wrexham 3-2 while Wealdstone beat table-topping Grimsby 1-0. Some interesting scores on an unseasonably balmy October evening.
