One of the most “tweet something like…” tweets I’ve seen.
@JohnBoy Seems fine to me. What else is he supposed to say? (Apart from what Sunderland fans are aggressively demanding...)
Don't linger talking about the player who basically generated the card, apologize to teammates and fans, bit generic, bit of extra badge/arse kissing, fine surely
Oh, and if he's got someone giving him advice and helping him with social media at his age - Good.
While i'm sure the club stop short of actually writing these tweets for the players, unlike at some clubs, I dare say they write them a template.
"Thanks to the fans for the great support" etc etc.
Then they just add a line about how they were "buzzin" or something before hand.

Seems a perfectly adequate apology to me. What do you want? An epic Albanian poem in the style of Fishta's Highland Lute?
Considering its importance I think we need a player tweet critique thread...
Social media would be greatly improved if all 19 year olds had to use a template.

Depends who wrote the template though! If it's some of Millwall's suavest gents, maybe not.
So England have reported the fact that one of the Polish players pinched Kyle Walkers neck. Why didn't we report Onien for the same offence on Anis?
How do you know we didn't?
Time to move on now. 'Dont punch irritating players, lad.' 'OK'
Surely, @Chickenhead, that story is just Glik bait?

Or at least if you do, make sure you really snot him, make the 3 game ban worthwhile!
Anis captained the development team in this afternoon’s friendly against Maidenhead.
The Gaffer listening to @aloysius at last.
@our_frank not for the first time
