The three subs played well when they came on but across the 90 it has to be Thompson. Against a very strong Sunderland side and surrounded by individuals who were making mistakes all over the place he was looking a lot like the player we saw last season.

If you assume, lacking any information to the contrary, that there is a very good reason that X is not playing, I find that helps.

I think Did Not See is overrated, myself. Own Goal is a better striker, for starters.
Gone for Bayo, best I've seen him for a while, nearly scored a goal of the season contender too.
