I believe there is a misplaced feeling of entitlement among some Sunderland fans that leads them to be disrespectful towards players and teams they think are beneath them. It’s a great club and the majority of their fans are sensible, but a minority need a reality check.
Agreed @glasshalffull I had a great time at that football club. Sitting in the stands (at the old Roker Park), it was almost more entertaining listening to them than watching the game sometimes!
