He was never going to be kept on by Paul Cook, he certainly hasn't been relieved of his duties in the way you infer. He did a very good job for us by getting us Automatic Promotion, lets hope Gareth can match that at some point during his tenure. Hopefully this weekend. (not auto but you know what Im saying)
Waddock left us with the worst squad that we have ever had since joining the league. Alan Smith is the only manager that comes near Waddocks level of incompetence.
Agreed. That's hugely unfair to the ginger one to be compared to that whining tnuc. Smith's mistakes were motivated by jealousy and spite. I couldn't hate anyone more.
Gary Waddock is a real decent chap. I know that Gareth, Bloomers and others at our club still hold the chap in high regard. I really hope he finds a new job in the game. Good luck Gary!
