Charity Predictions - Luton (h) and Swansea (a)
Before I get too emotional I must remember that we all did this for charity and a bit of fun.
Now it feels like a heady mixture of hope, faith and charity. I will be fascinated to see how the realists and the optimists deal with these two.
A special this time with some form - although I guess few saw Norwich putting seven past Huddersfield last night.
@DevC says a human player will be lucky to beat Betfair this season. The goalscorer competition is still open. Please remember that we have yet to score 4 goals in a league game this season and the goalscorer competition carries a one point penalty for every predicted goal over three that we don't score.
Luton at home: We have never beaten them at Adams Park.
win
Our last five games -
Rotherham away - win 0 - 3 (Muskwe, McCarthy, Wheeler)
Blackburn home - win 1 - 0 (Onyedinma)
Coventry away - draw 0 - 0
Barnsley home - loss 1 - 3 (Ikpeazu)
Preston away - win 0 - 1 (Tafazolli)
10 points from 5 games, which if repeated in a crazy world for the next 5 games would see us on 43 points with one to play
Their last five games -
Barnsley home - loss 1 -2
Derby away - loss 2 - 0
Preston away - win 0 - 1
Coventry home - win 2 - 0
Swansea away - loss 1 - 0
6 points from 5 games, they are currently on 50 points in 13th spot.
Swansea away:
Their current five game form -
Preston home - loss 0 - 1
B'ham away - loss 1 - 0
Cardiff home - loss 0 - 1
B'mouth away - loss 0 - 3
Luton home - win 1 - 0
3 points from 5 games. They are currently in 4th on 69 points, 10 points outside the automatic places with a game in hand and just 4 points above Bournemouth in 7th on level games played. Cardiff in 8th, who have played a game extra are 11 points behind.
Before they play us they play Millwall at the New Den in the early kick off on Sat and then Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough early Tuesday evening.
No worries from me if you leave the prediction for the Swansea game until a week's time.
Happy predicting.

Two predictions of 3-0 defeats and we have won both. Seems only fair and appropriately superstitious to do the same.

The good doctor is a person of habits, providing balance for the almost unalloyed optimism otherwise being displayed.
Latest results after the Fairytale of New York. Only thing missing was Shane MacGowan and the much missed Kirsty Maccoll.
@bigred87 with a remarkable eight of the last nine match results predicted correctly has stormed to the top of the table but he is followed threateningly by @MindlessDrugHoover who you just know is going to let someone else do all the hard work of leading before sweeping by to glory just before the finishing line. B*stard (said with feeling by someone who had no sprint finish whatsoever).
Results feel more unpredictable now and a much more interesting competition as a result.
Really hope you’ve demonstrated top of the table form with your prediction this week @bigred87. Congratulations on your remarkable success.
Wycombe 2 (Ikpeazu, Mehmeti) Luton 1
Swansea 0-1 Wycombe (Fred)
Wycombe 2 - Luton 1 ( Knight, Bayo)
Swansea 0 - Wycombe 1 (Bayo)
Wyc 1 Luton 1 (Muskwe)
Bayo looked almost back to his best when he came on late in the game against Rotherham so I’m hoping he comes on in the 70th minute tomorrow and scores the winning goal in the 6th minute of added time. In @Twizz we trust.
Wycombe 2 - Luton 1 (Fred, Mehmeti)
Swansea 1 - Wycombe 1 (Uche)
Wycombe 1 - Luton 0 (Bayo)
Wycombe Wanderers 2 (Ikpeazu, Onyedinma) vs Luton Town 2 (Keen, Busby)
Wycombe 2 Luton 1 (Ikpeazu & Akinfenwa)
Wycombe 3-1 Luton, thanks.
Wycombe 3 Luton 1 (Onyedinma, Mehmeti, Akinfenwa) hopefully with a relaxed last minute.
Swansea 2-0 Wycombe
Swansea 4 Wycombe 1 (Bayo)
Swansea 5 - 0 Wycombe
