Charity Predictions - Preston, Barnsley and Coventry
Latest score update here - don't think any of us are going to catch Betfair.
I have scored Stoke and QPR together this week - games coming thick and fast. Apols.
Last week of this clump of fixtures before a much needed minibreak. I'll take predictions for all three on this thread (sorry RSteve!)
After this grouping, there will be just eight games left. my view - try to get whatever enjoyment you can, we may never see the club at such a high level again.

Ever since I switched from predicting win to predicting defeats without scoring I'm racking up the points. My own personal great escape is on.

Just in case I get extra points for predicting how these scores will happen: in all three we'll come out pressing high and pushing forward and the gasroom will spend the first 15 minutes saying "we look much the better team", and "this is more like it". Then Opponent will realise that we haven't got a midfield and that simply passing to someone in the centre circle is enough to make our entire team retreat into their own half. This will then give Opponent all the time in the world to study what happens when when their players make certain runs and quickly realise we can be unlocked by doubling up on either fullback or simply having two players swap positions. Opponent will score either just before or just after half time.
Going a goal down will suddenly make us start attacking with some purpose, with a few accurate passes out to the wings where possession will immediately be gifted back through overhit crosses. However we will actually create more than one goal scoring chance in this period. This will last about 10 minutes before anyone who either created or had a scoring chance is subbed off, to be replaced by someone playing out of position, and all shape, cohesion and tactics will be gone for the rest of the game. Opponent will realise that we're effectively unconscious and score a very easy second. The end.
