Main Stand
Evening gasroomers, I’ve often wondered if the style / design of the main stand at the ground was a nod to the old main stand at Loakes Park, in the way that it has some standing at the front and then the side facing steps going up to the seating area. When you think about it, not many stands are built like that, or maybe not since the early 90’s anyway. Does anyone know the answer or rational for that type of design by any chance? Maybe no one does, and maybe it’s nothing more than coincidence but I thought I’d put it out there !
