I was only thinking about him earlier today when I saw Jimmy Greaves got an MBE. The Doc always used to say “he’s the best since Greaves” about Robbie Fowler every time he was mentioned. He first said it in about 1993 on a brilliant radio show he did at the time with James H Reeve called Jim and the Doc.
