Put simply, if taking the loan and using it to buy better players guaranteed that we would remain a Championship club until the loan has to be repaid, it’s a no-brainer. Sadly, as we all know, you can’t guarantee anything in football so it becomes a massive gamble that could land us in serious danger. In Rob I trust to make the right call on this.
