Agreed the Peru shirt was fantastic, in a group of classic kits.
In my opinion the greatest ever Scotland outfit with those distinctive red socks.
And my personal favourite, the Dutch change colours, like the football they played it was very easy on the eye.
@Steve_Peart nails it. My first World Cup wallchart was a pullout from the Radio Times in 1970, and the Peru kit stood out a mile. I vaguely remember there was at the time an emotional pull towards Peru because of some recent natural disaster there, and they raised their game to get out of their group - but too young to absorb it fully at the time, and too old now to remember the details. No loss of memory over how they took down “Ally’s Army” in ‘78, however.
Made all the more magical by the football they played at the time, memorably taking apart Uruguay who were the most thuggish side I have ever seen.
Anyone who is too young to remember Michael Laudrup give yourselves a treat and go and look up some videos of him in action. One of the all time greats
Second @YorkExile on Cameroon. The green, red, yellow combo is wonderful. So good the five aside team I play for wear a similar ensemble (albeit compliance with yellow sock wearing is patchy).
South Korea’s coral red shirts in the 2002 WC were excellent. An unusual shade and almost every single Korean supporter wore the colours. The fact they had such an incredible tournament does make it much more memorable than it might otherwise have been. Although I think they played in white in the most remarkable game against Italy.
I also quite like the savoy blue of Italy and, like others, pretty much all teams in yellow.
Special mention for Bolivia at the first World Cup in Uruguay (1930) who played their opening game in white shirts with a large black letter on the front which spelled out ‘V I V A U R U G U A Y’ when arranged correctly.

West Germany 1990 was a nice kit.
Paraguay (red and white stripes, blue shorts) is a great combo
Red and white striped shorts? Different. Or is that horrible adjacency if i and o that catches me out so iften?
Corrected!
Now you’ve made me look foolish!
Yes I know........
Just jealous cos I don’t know how to edit post post.
My fav of all time
FIFA/UEFA want everyone to wear same colours throughout their kits 'because it's easier to watch on television'
Viva Paraguay I say
An all time classic
Cameroon 1990 with the red shorts. It shouldn’t have worked but it was so beautiful.
@eric_plant I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad Hummel kit.
The Peru and Paraguay kits mentioned are also great shouts.
If we could include the Euros I would throw France 1984 in there.

I agree, as a young kid I always liked to watch Holland because of their Orange kit

Nigeria have had some great ones recently, no templates required.
The wonderful Danish kit in 86.

Laudrup didn't run, he glided !!
Preben Elkjaer was a wonderful centre forward, never gave defenders a seconds peace,
Byron Walton with skill !!
Brazil absolute classic. Peru with the red sash is also up there.
Unreal bit of clobber that.

Still red for me
The Peru shirt mentioned a few times but also the 1966 final shirt for England and the chequered Croatia kits over the years.
Hungary’s red, white and green for me.
