Steve Woods
My dad, Steve Woods, died on Monday aged 69. He was a lifelong supporter, season ticket holder and regular Gasroom lurker. He first went to Loakes Park in a pram and was at AP with me and @johnkerrsdivingheade for the Tranmere game in February.
He worked in the furniture factories of Wycombe from the late 1960s until his retirement a few years ago.
We'd be keen to hear from anyone who knew my dad and in particular anyone who used to work at Richard Graefe Ltd in the 60s and 70s – you may have information that could be useful to our family.
It's a shame that he didn't get to see the first Championship point, but he was so proud of what the club has achieved. Our family will always have so many great memories of following this club together.

Sad news @stevedore - I wish your family well through the grieving.
Very sorry to here that @stevedore. I met you and your Dad a few times at away games down the years. I think Charlton may have been the last time. Always enjoyed chatting, sharing Chairboys memories and a few beers with you guys.
Best wishes to you and your family.
@stevedore Sincere condolences to you and the family.
That's very sad indeed. Condolences to you and your family and I hope that the happy memories you have of following Wycombe together bring you some comfort over the coming weeks and months
@stevedore @johnkerrsdivingheade I'm really saddened, and a little shocked, to hear that. It was always good to see you on the terrace together and he appeared in good order when last season was cruelly interrupted. Condolences to you all.
Sorry for your loss @stevedore

Do you have a picture of your dad @stevedore ?
I’m sure I’d have seen him over the years but didn’t know him by name.
I'm very sorry to hear your news, @stevedore.
Condolences to you and yours @stevedore.
Terrible news to hear of his passing, my condolences to you @stevedore and @johnkerrsdivingheade. Had a good time at that backstreet boozer before Pompey away a few seasons back with you and Steve!
Thank you all for the responses on this thread and messages that have reached my brother and I via other routes. Very kind and greatly appreciated at this time. As per the original post, if anyone has specific memories of those earlier working years in Wycombe please do contact us.
It is fortunate that we were all at the Tranmere game together, alongside some of our regular terrace comrades whose company our dad enjoyed so much. Like all of us, he had really missed his football fix since then and was elated after the play off victory. Very sadly, there will be an empty space towards the far end of the terrace when we are all allowed back in. COYB.
Sorry to hear @stevedore, my condolences
Sorry to hear chaps.
If one of you used to go to JHGS in the 90s there's every chance i knew one of you from then.
Hope things are as ok as they can be.
Condolences to you and your family @stevedore
