Very good interview; sharp, perceptive questions and a real sense from David Wheeler about how Gareth Ainsworth's management style differs from others. You begin to see the compromises that go into the day-to-day man management of players - Wheeler, for example, has had to sacrifice his ego by playing out of position and in a less glamorous, more defence-minded role than he would necessarily like - but in return he's allowed to take time away from the training ground to develop as an individual, working for a masters in sports psychology. Ainsworth harnesses his players to the collective yoke but at the same time wants to let a hundred flowers bloom.
Wheeler also very interesting in how he's applying his sport psychology learning to analysing what's going through the minds of players in lockdown. It's well worth a listen, thanks @chairboyscentral for planting the initial seed.
Very interesting interview indeed. I know he has to say it, but his comments about GA ring true and another example of why we have been lucky in hanging onto our gaffer until he goes to QPR/Sunderland

I agree totally with @aloysius. Well worth a listen. Interview starts around 35 minutes in.
