Referee!
I read with some amusement that Bournemouth players complained about Jon Moss for making 'sarky comments' and showing them no respect. I mean I know the officials are fair game for abuseand some of them love themselves a bit too much, but the thought of the tender souls of these millionaires being offended because the ref says something upsetting to them does make me smile.

Trevor Kettle to Matt Bloomfield: "I would not want to watch you every week."
Matt Bloomfield to Trevor Kettle: "Trust me - we would not want you watching us every week!"
Kettle was surely better than the man in the middle for the Fleetwood game...one of the worst displays I've seen for a long time.
Jon Moss always looks to be a good few stone overweight, so im surprised he can either be heard making comments from miles away, or has the breath left to do so.
That's why they like VAR and goal-line technology. More pies and less of those early morning runs...
They should mic refs up. If the players are so angelic, they won't have any issue with it.
I was only saying on Saturday about refs giving players stick. Only seconds after giving the ref a volley of abuse one of the Rovers players hit a shot way off target and if I'd have been the ref I'd have had a word.
It's nice to hear the refs are chatting with the players. They never look interested in our games and are rarely close enough to the action anyway.
We'll have a proper ref in League One next season: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/11933283/referee-bobby-madley-returns-to-refereeing-in-england
Let’s hope he doesn’t mock any of our players.
Madley, I mean. Or Mossy for that matter.
