Should tonight match be called off?
There is a gale blowing here in sunny Hazlemere and it is likely to continue well into this evening. Football matches become a lottery in conditions like this spoiling the entertainment. I recall a previous match at home to Fleetwood being called off at the last minute due to an icy pitch. I hope that lightening doesn't strike twice. In my view a decision needs to be made as soon as possible. as to whether the match takes place. If it were my call I would call it off now.

Poor attempt at a wind up
Sorry, you want the game called off because it's windy?
On the contrary, certainly down my way nature made a pretty impressive attempt at a wind up. Could hardly walk by the coast.
(Oh hang on you mean wind rhyming with bind not wind rhyming with pinned.)
Of course the game will go ahead though.
Not sure if pun intended or not but good job
Ah, didn't consider it was gust a wind-up
I hope we don't blow a two-goal lead.
Cue gales of laughter from Fuerteventura.
Perhaps I am being selfish wanting the game called off as I am a little under the weather today. I suspect that I may fail a fitness test circa 6.30pm this evening.
Cant say I was blown away by it.
Hopefully we can storm into an early two goal lead just like our last Tues night game
Bayo is better than Hurri Cane
You say wind up, i say wind up, let's call the whole thing off.
I suggest you draught an email to the club
Was slightly worried for a second, not working in the super local area
Glad to hear it's still on. Though it's bound to be freezing cold as standard!
Not a night for windmilling
@LX1 just breezes back in here like he's never been away.
Wycombe made an historic 39 minute eight goal start aided by storm ciara in their 8-6 victory tonight. 'Changing ends at half-time hurt us said Gareth Ainsworth...'
I must say that it's been a lot more windy at AP since Rebellion was easily available.???
I asked two meteorologists earlier and Beaufort it would be on.
One was @micra and the other was his dog!
Yes it should retrospectively.
Wish it had been. We were blown away anyway.
As for the puns, the winner is @Ned_Ludd with his clever play on the Beaufort Scale.
Sadly @mooneyman, the dog is no longer.
Given the state of the pitch, I wonder if there is any possibility of the WPL match tomorrow being postponed?
