I went to see my 94 year old Nan just before the game, she's got dementia now and can't remember anything from recent times. We always go over the same four or five topics for the hour I stay with her. I told her I was off to the football to watch Wycombe and she could not believe we were playing Blackpool. Her stronger memories come from after the war and of course Blackpool were at their height in those days.
How the mighty have fallen and how lucky we are to be 2nd in League 1, with a good chance of promotion against so many big clubs.
