Was it me or did Sky favour Plymouth in the coverage of the game. We were given little credit for dominating 86 minutes of football, they all seemed really pleased that Plymouth scored twice.
Sky always favour the "bigger" club but Birtles was positively swooning over argyle at the end.. very embarrassing for Sky. Maybe for the home leg we could just have one Wycombe fan on sky - maybe Scotty or Brownie..
Don't know - I thought they bigged us up defensively. Also Birtles was raving about Mawson and Holloway throughout. Dirty team Plymouth - should have been down to 10. I thought Lynch looked particularly nervous/ropey - glad they only had 2 shots on target.
No keeper would have saved the first Argyle goal and Mawson should have headed the second shot, if that's what it was, away so no blame on the keeper for either.
@marlowwanderer: Absolutely agree. The second goal looked a case of Mawson leaving it to the 'keeper - a situation which Matt Ingram might conceivably have been more used/alert to. @argylep: a very fair summing up. I couldn't see how the double assault on Matt Bloomfield was not a red card but, equally, Sam Saunders was lucky not to have got at least a second yellow in the same incident.
I hope Paul Hayes recovers for Thursday. He could be key again. I foresee yet another tense occasion - but it wouldn't be Adams Park if it was any other way!
@argylep: I was of course referring to your comment at 9.01. I have since seen some of your other comments and I have to say that the 9.01 comment stands alone as sensible. Sorry!
One aspect of the Sky coverage which I thought was exremely disappointing was the pitiful 5 minute "build-up". I seem to recall that run-of-the-mill league games are given much longer. I had been expecting at least a brief reference to recent history at Adams Park - eg the turnaround from near extinction as a result of the financial state a couple of years ago and the fact that we are supporter-owned, depending on the generosity of supporters. Too much perhaps to expect reference to the community share scheme but it is a vital component of the ongoing rescue effort. I hope sales are going well but I have not heard anything on that score for a while.

Listened to 5 live they were complimentary
Sky coverage was incredibly biased, particularly once they got one back
I agree. I watched via Nowtv box and am glad that I do not have a full subs ription to Sky.
They seemed to think all the noise was Plymouth too but I mostly heard Wycombe through the TV, even Bill Turnbull said the same via Tweet.
They have favoured the home teams in general through the playoffs. It'll be interesting to see if this holds true when the fixtures are in reverse.
They just want there to be Interest going into the 2nd leg. Come on WWFC

No goalkeeper would have saved the first one !!
I felt Ingram would have got both...hope he fit on Thursday. .he could be the difference whether we win or lose.

Really??? Ingram would of saved the 2nd as he would kept his eye on ball, he is an different league to lynch looker like a rabbit in headlights

I think Ingram would of saved the second goal, but only because he is a superb keeper.
Most League Two keepers wouldn't have saved it, and they would also have been absolved of the blame due to poor defending on Mawson's part.
