I think the current England cricket display in New Zealand is an example of playing too many second string players in one go. Wycombe's team in the pointless Trophy are the same and no reflection on any of the players.
Good teams evolve by changing a couple of players each season. Bad ones change more than half.
Finally anyone criticising JGS after two reserve games are morons
I've not seen JGS so can't comment on him, but in some cases 2 games has been more than enough to see that players aren't good enough.
As far as I'm concerned if a player plays two games in four months without scoring a hat-trick, running the midfield or making at least three goal-saving tackles we're wasting our time....especially if he's young. I mean where's that going?

Elliot Benyon was the only player I've ever written off from one look
About 5ft, not that quick, miniscule strength. Amazed he ever cut it as a league level striker.
I didn't need the whole match at Cambridge to make up my mind about Carlos Lopez to be fair

I think we have already shown a lot of strength in depth in the league.
Could only be one of the Chairboys
???
Bravo. This made me chuckle.
I’m not exactly laughing but, every time I look at the League 1 table I can’t help smiling.
A couple of very good points there, @Right_in_the_Middle
