FA Cup set to be renamed

Yoyoyoyoyo! I am totally against this. It's yet more prostituting for a sport which already has billions to it's name. Why is this so necessary?

I have an idea. Why don't we have footballers named by sponsors? Adam Toys R Us Johnson or John UKIP Terry....

    Whatever the rights or wrongs of FA Cup sponsorship, doesn't it show the state of this country when we can't even get a U.K. company to sponsor it?

    No - sponsorship by Arab companies is not simply about the commercial value of the deal. It is broadly about trying to achieve global legitimacy for the countries concerned. See also deals with Uzbeks and Azeris.
