The lady fella who used to play midfield for Carlise amongst others wasnt the mosr popular.
He went grey early, but I'd be buggered if I can remember his name ??

I wonder if we can name a team of confessed staunch Socialists,
Plenty of great managers
Brian Clough
Bill Shankly
Bob Paisley
Alex,Fergusson
Sam Allardyce was a comrade, probably the reason he didnt realise that you dont drink wine out of a pint glass.
If he had stuck to the socialist mantra of 'Beer and Sandwiches' he might still have the England job.
Having to listen to Roy McDonough was bad enough, now Alan Smith is being suggested! Aren’t people feeling depressed enough during this crisis without inflicting more misery on them?

I think Aspinall also played for col u at one point. Good question that though. My answers would be:
Danny Hylton
Kevin Muscat
Somebody Tony Adams actually helped.

He did indeed - playing for Blackpool if I remember right.
I can't separate McKenna and McDonough for the 'Wycombe' part of that question.
It's between Joey Barton and Luis Suarez for the 'football in general' one.
I believe (talking to someone who played alongside McKenna) that it was a bit of an act and that off the field he was a perfectly reasonable person.
McDonough was a £&@% on and off the pitch.
Also Joey Barton is a complete tosser and a horrible footballer. Suarez was (is?) a brilliant footballer with an unfortunate temper problem
He is also a proven racist
Suarez that is
It's got to be Danny Hylton though hasn't it?
I had a chat with Ken McKenna the other season when he was down with Morecambe and found him to be a lovely bloke.
He reckoned that MO’N had tried to sign him for WW but as a staunch socialist, he didn’t want to move to Bucks.

McDonough sounded like he’s still very much a bellend.
Pat Nevin
Neville Southall
Mick McCarthy
Chris Hughton, I recall from when he was a player. David Wheeler.
I think Gary Neville is Labour
Joey Barton too
Peter Reid
Cristiano Lucarelli should be captain
I was going to say Paolo Di Canio then I realised he was more National Socialist.
Stan Collymore

Hector Bellerin seems a possibility.
Fowler, McManaman and Bjornebye supported striking dockers in the 90s.
Nice one Phil, I'll look forward to that
Have you ever thought about getting Alan Smith as a guest? Think he'd be really interesting to talk to about his time at the club
Alan Smith would be an interesting one... Not sure how willing he would be to take part though?!
Perhaps you can ask Mr Glasshalfull to conduct the interview ??
Shouldn't have no problem in either of them breaking the two metre restrictions !!

They say Royston Osborne interviews quite well, if
Alan Smith is unavailable.
Your knowledge is too extensive Chas!
Has anyone got a number for Philip Don?
