I like the comment by Christies Child. Has a familiar ring. Morecambe fans can be justly proud of their achievements on the road and, some of their over-robust challenges aside, they were good value for their win - albeit against a depleted and ultimately exhausted Wycombe side.
Morecambe were good value for the win, though I wouldn't say they were any more 'robust' than AFC Wimbledon or Exeter City. They certainly aren't lacking heart, and with a budget similar to ours, that's out of necessity.
Hopefully they can end their season with a good home win!
