WHC update Luton (a)
A quiet week for the WHC league with just two correct result predictions and no correct scores.
Perhaps most interest at the top supplied by @mooneyman. In the first third of the season, he was dominant, no less than 44 points accrued and 14 points clear. Second third hopeless -18 pts accrued and slipping down the table. As we now enter the final third he pops up with a correct result and climbs back to third. Ominous for the other contenders perhaps.
For the rest of us locked in mdtable or worse as the season runs out, hope of a late run to glory gradually dissipates and the harsh reality we have simply our own battle to finish the season with better than nil to fight. Life can be such a disappointment......
On to leaders Luton (a) and the disadvantage of facing not only 11 higher paid footballers but God is apparently on their side too . Thank goodness he probably doesnt exist. Hard to see anything other than a disspiriting defeat. 0-2.
